Adware and spyware blockers do exist, but most of them are not free of charge. Actually I don’t know any efficient spyware blocker to be given for free. One of the most affordable ones is Spyzooka, which comes with a free scanning trial option. However, after it detects infections, remaval is possible only by buying the license.
Such programs come built in the anti-virus software solutions, such as Trend Micro PC Cillin, or Bit Defender, Karsperky or MacAffee. Older versions of antivirus software didn’t have this option of blocking spyware and adware, but now almost all of them do.
Beware though, because at some of them, the spyware blocker function is not activated by default. You’ll need to go through the settings of the program and enable the filters which will keep your computer clean from malware.
What you need to know is that if you block or remove the adware which came with some free software you use, that software won’t work anymore. You need to balance the advantages and the damages the adware causes you, and take the decision either to remove it or to let it stay and close a few popups each time you use the useful software you downloaded for free.
