I’ve learned in this short time since I’ve started this website that the most difficult part is not writing: I love to write and it’s easy for me, as I have may things to say. The biggest challenge is to get readers, traffic for the website.

I’ve tried hard to get traffic from Digg, which is a social networking webiste. Social networking means that I submit a story I think is good, other members read it, and if they like it, they vote. If you gather a big number of votes in a short period of time (hours), your story would get promoted to the front page, which has so many visitors that it has been said it had crushed many servers.

I wasn’t successful in my Digg attempt, therefore I decided to find some smaller social networking places were people are more friendly and give their votes also to strangers, not only to their friends. I found a few of them, and I had a nice surprise: not only I needed only 5-7 votes to get my story published, I also made a lot of friends and we had a lot of fun.

Who needs Digg, anyway?

Wildwood hotels will be very busy in July, that’s for sure. The reason? Well, the Radio Disney Summer Concert Series will be held in Wildwood, New Jersey at Morey’s Piers during July. All concerts will be free, and music lovers will have the chance to meet their favorites, as all top Radio Disney artists will participate in the concerts.

So, if you intend to come, you’ll have a lot of things to do in New Jersey, and you’ll have a great time, with all these events coming up. Morey’s Piers is a great place for a New Jersey vacation, anyway, so why not have both: vacation and concerts? You’ll have enough free time, as the concerts schedule is as it follows:
- the Magic Mondays: July 7th, 14th and 21th - all concerts are free and they feature artists who will perform live at Morey’s Piers.
- The Radio Disney Summer Concert series finale: Saturday, July 26th.This one is not free, but if you get a ticket, you can benefit from discounts for waterpark tickets for either Raging Waters or Ocean Oasis, or $10 off an amusement pier wristband good for all three of Morey’s Piers, or you can enjoy $15 off a one-day splash combined with a ride ticket.

The big surprise of the July 26th concert is that you’ll have the occasion to see Mitchell Musso from the Hannah Montana Show performing on the stage.

Halloween Costumes are always a great occasion for fun and laughter. I’m a big fan of Halloween, and I’ve always tried to exploit it to the full, by choosing the craziest ideas for my costumes. I just like to amaze the audience. I love those first seconds after I appear, when everybody shuts up and stares. You cannot imagine how funny it was when I dressed myself like a big piece of cake and I started chasing around my nephews around the house! I think they were afraid to eat their desert some good weeks after that Halloween!

How I still remember that other Halloween, when my wife and I dressed like the Ball and Chain. Boy, we were so funny! Too bad I was the ball, so I wasn’t able to sit at the dinner table because of the spikes I had all over. Not to mention that our dog, Toby, didn’t recognize me from the start and he tried to bite my spikes.

We’ve found these costumes at Costume Cauldron, an amazing online shop for Halloween costumes. For this year, I’ve already made my choice: I’ll be Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings. The Gandalf Adult Deluxe costume is available in the same shop, Costume Cauldron. My wife is going to be Betty Boop, so we expect the youngsters to fight to sit near her at the table. This costume looks so sexy that I think I’m not going to invite my male, single friends to join us for the Halloween pary. Not that I’m jealous, but you can never know. The funniest thing, that final touch which makes the perfect masquerade, is the fact that at Costume Cauldron you can also find accessories and make up for the selected costumes. Too bad I don’t have photos from the last Halloween, because we dropped the camera on the floor and we were unable to retrieve any information from it. Nevertheless, it doesn’t matter, a we have the whole party on video.

There so many leidure activities and hobbies, that one cannot have enough time to practice everything. Many times, we have to choose, because there are only 24 hours in a day, and we are all equal in front of time.

So, I’ve had a debate with several friends, and we decided for the following activities to be the first priorities on our lists when it comes to relaxation and free time for our passions:

1. Swimming

This won by far, as we are all big fans of swimming, However, it is time consuming, because it requires going to the swimming pool, taking a shower before and after the swim, drying your hair, and driving back home. So, swimming could take a whole evening and leave us with barely any time or energy for something else.

2. Computer games

We have a network and we like to play MMORPGs like Age of Conan, or Warcraft. The advantage is that we don’t need to commute to be able to play. It is enough to open the computers and get connected. However, this is so addicting that we end up in the middle of the night, chasing each others like crazy. Good, but this doesn’t leave any space for other family activities.

3. Fishing

We like it, but it is both time and money consuming, so we don’t afford to go fishing more than 5-6 times per year.

4. Golf

Addicting and entertaining, golf isone of our favorite hobbies. Too bad we have to pay for accommodation, as we don’t have any golf clubs in town. This is expensive, and our wives don’t play, so we don’t go more than once a year.

5. What’s your favorite hobby? We want to know, maybe you give us some new ides.

It is just so easy nowadays to start a website, that even children can do it. Especially if you choose to go for free hosted blogs, all you need is maybe a half of hour before you have the site up and running, with your first couple of articles already published.

Nevertheless, the next step would be to make your site more personal, to give it an unique touch, and this is not so easy anymore. You may want to make a logo for it, but if you have no talent for design nor the required technical skills, then you are in trouble.

Solution? Yes, there are many places on the internet where you can design your logo for free. Just put in Google search “make a free logo” and see what results you get. I bet that you’ll find at least one good solution on the very first page of results.

Another solution would be to get MyLogo Maker or a similar software and get your job done easily and in a professional manner, without having to learn how to use complicated tools.

Whatever you may choose, remember that a cool, distinctive logo can get your site out of the crowd and make it memorable for your readers.

The new Bo Bice album, called See the Light, will be available for sale exclusively at Wallmart.

For those of you who aren’t aware of who Bo Bice is, he was “American Idol’s” Season 4 runner-up in 2005. His latest musical careers comes to testify that he was really good, and he deserved to be so close to becoming the absolute star of year 2005. The new album is released under the Sugar Money/StratArt Records label, and it promises to reveal the real artist, his emotions and feelings, and to pass them to his audience of fans, who can’t wait already to get a copy of See The Light.

Once more, American Idol has been proven to be a great launching ramp for many great names of American and international music.

Despite the interrupted Early Access program for Age of Conan, we are still able to take a look into the game, via an interview given by Fancom’s developers of the game, to AoCMMO.

According to the developer, the new MMORPG is going to be extremely entertaining, as the cities in the game will be full of resources, thus preventing too much struggle to gather gold or some other goods required to advance in the game and to strengthen your character.

Shannon Drake: Player cities are incredibly resource intensive and upkeep and repairs for PVP-type cities will require a long-term commitment. It’s not going to be as simple as pressing a button and a city being completely done and perfect for all eternity.

This is partly what I was talking about in the first question. The system’s challenge isn’t “staring at a forge for four hours,” it’s figuring out how to build a city, which is no easy proposition, as you might imagine!

Common gear, obviously, will require less effort than an entire city. If you want basic stuff, it won’t take long at all, but if you want the uberest loot of all, it’s going to be a bit more work.

So, it looks like pretty much every gamer, including beginners can have their share of fun and resources in Age of Conan.

The play will include dedicated crafters ans well as casual crafters, and each player will have the choice of either dedicating his time to a certain craft, to perfecting his skills and advancing in his career, or rather spend more time in adventures and exploring new lands ans territories.

The resources will have different quality, and the quality of your final item will depend on the quality of the resources you use to manufacture that item. Again, more differentiation, which promises even more fun for all game players.

I think Age of Conan will be the MMORPG of the year 2008.

Are you a gamer? Have you been waiting for Age of Conan, eager to take part in the Hyboria community? Have you pre-ordered your early access ticket to Age of Conan? If you did so, but you failed to activate your subscription, you won’t be able to do it any longer, because the early access to Age of Conan’s pre-launch has been sold out. The announcement was made this morning, on the official forums of the MMORPG game.

If you speak French or German, you may still be lucky, because the access seems to be closed only for the English version of the game. Nevertheless, you still need to hurry up, because even those two may close their gates any moment now.

The developer of Age of Conan, Funcom, made this announcement in the forums, but they haven’t stated any causes for this decision they’ve taken. Many gamers suspect there are some technical issues the game may be facing, so Funcom decided to limit the damage by stopping the access of more players into the game.

The forum thread went quickly on fire, this being a sign of the high level of expectancy this new MMORPG game has amongst gamers all over the place.

Age of Conan will hopefully have its official launch next week, on Tuesday, May 20th in the US and Friday May 23rd in Europe. Eurogamer MMO will host a Conan Week in order to celebrate this event which is so much expected by hundreds of thousands of gamers all over the world. They promise to provide detailed coverage, beta test opinions and impressions, and a report on the huge launch event held in Oslo, Funcom’s headquarters city.

I think Age of Conan will manage to offer us many sleepless nights, what do you think?

Finally, the American Idol top 3 has been revealed. I know it has nothing to do with computers, software, adware and other things I’m writing about, but we all need a break from time to time, and what can be more entertaining than American Idol, the competition which fired up all teenagers across America?

So, the finalists are: David Archuletta, David Cook and Syesha Mercado. Have you expected it to be so? Did your intuition tell you that Jason, the famous already Jason Castro will be going home? He and Syesha were on the last spots, and one of them had to leave. Jason was voted off.

This is life, and we have witnessed may unexpected turns of this entertaining show which keeps American eyeballs glued on the TV screen for so long. It’s quite funny how addictive such an entertainment TV show can become, and how people of so different ages can share the passion of watching the new American Idol rising up from this bunch of talented young people who had the guts to show the world what they can do if only they wanted to.
