How To Keep Your PC Clean

Keeping your PC clean would ensure you a smooth operation and getting your job done without additional stress and hassle. As these days there are a lot of spyware and malware dangers on the internet, you cannot be sure that you won’t get infected with who knows what, before even having the chance to realize it. So, you’ve just got your first PC and you have no clue why it is going slower every day? This is a normal thing when you use to install and uninstall various programs, only to see what they are doing.

In such cases, a PC-Diagnostics Novice Kit would save you lots of nerves and time. However, if you don’t want to test this elegant solution, you can do at least a few things which would help you maintain your PC in good shape:

  • Run a defragmentation every month, even if your PC says it is not necessary. You can find the defrag command in Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Defragmnet
  • Clear your cache and delete the temporary internet files every month. If you browse a lot, you can do this more often.

  • Don’t install unnecessary software: you don’t want to be the tester of all software currently in alpha or beta stage. Let others chase the bugs, and learn from their experience. If you don’t know what a software does, try to find some reviews and read them prior to installing it on your system.

Keeping your PC clean and fast running is not so difficult after all. In fact, it is easier than installing a solar panel or some other do-it-yourself household operation. AOCMMO Interview about Age of Conan

Despite the interrupted Early Access program for Age of Conan, we are still able to take a look into the game, via an interview given by Fancom’s developers of the game, to AoCMMO.

According to the developer, the new MMORPG is going to be extremely entertaining, as the cities in the game will be full of resources, thus preventing too much struggle to gather gold or some other goods required to advance in the game and to strengthen your character.

Shannon Drake: Player cities are incredibly resource intensive and upkeep and repairs for PVP-type cities will require a long-term commitment. It’s not going to be as simple as pressing a button and a city being completely done and perfect for all eternity.

This is partly what I was talking about in the first question. The system’s challenge isn’t “staring at a forge for four hours,” it’s figuring out how to build a city, which is no easy proposition, as you might imagine!

Common gear, obviously, will require less effort than an entire city. If you want basic stuff, it won’t take long at all, but if you want the uberest loot of all, it’s going to be a bit more work.

So, it looks like pretty much every gamer, including beginners can have their share of fun and resources in Age of Conan.

The play will include dedicated crafters ans well as casual crafters, and each player will have the choice of either dedicating his time to a certain craft, to perfecting his skills and advancing in his career, or rather spend more time in adventures and exploring new lands ans territories.

The resources will have different quality, and the quality of your final item will depend on the quality of the resources you use to manufacture that item. Again, more differentiation, which promises even more fun for all game players.

I think Age of Conan will be the MMORPG of the year 2008.

Age of Conan: Most Expected MMORPG

MMORPGs are so cherished by so many people. Gamers forget to eat, drink and they even give up sleep in their quest for chasing all their enemies in those virtual worlds, in order to become stronger and stronger, to rule the world and get to the end of the game in glory.

Age of Conan forums have just known an incendiary thread, after the Age of Conan producer announced that the early access program has been sold out.

With such huge scale games, you can never know how they are actually going to perform when they are launched. At tests, they may be just perfect, and when installed on the official servers, they may return unexpected errors and bugs. This is normal, if we think how many gamers are online at a given moment in time, and you realize that reproducing these conditions in a lab is impossible. Of course, how could for example, Age of Conan’s programmers and testers gather a huge crowd of people willing to play it and get paid for chasing the bugs? I’m sure Fancom did all their best to test even the most unpredictable situations, but you never know what life would bring you.

Nevertheless, it is not to be forgotten that Fancom reserved the right to modify the conditions of the Age of Conan Early Access program, so they cannot be blamed because they did.

Age Of Conan Forums: Early Access Sold Out

Are you a gamer? Have you been waiting for Age of Conan, eager to take part in the Hyboria community? Have you pre-ordered your early access ticket to Age of Conan? If you did so, but you failed to activate your subscription, you won’t be able to do it any longer, because the early access to Age of Conan’s pre-launch has been sold out. The announcement was made this morning, on the official forums of the MMORPG game.

If you speak French or German, you may still be lucky, because the access seems to be closed only for the English version of the game. Nevertheless, you still need to hurry up, because even those two may close their gates any moment now.

The developer of Age of Conan, Funcom, made this announcement in the forums, but they haven’t stated any causes for this decision they’ve taken. Many gamers suspect there are some technical issues the game may be facing, so Funcom decided to limit the damage by stopping the access of more players into the game.

The forum thread went quickly on fire, this being a sign of the high level of expectancy this new MMORPG game has amongst gamers all over the place. It seems like PC role playing games really have a lot of fans.

Age of Conan will hopefully have its official launch next week, on Tuesday, May 20th in the US and Friday May 23rd in Europe. Eurogamer MMO will host a Conan Week in order to celebrate this event which is so much expected by hundreds of thousands of gamers all over the world. They promise to provide detailed coverage, beta test opinions and impressions, and a report on the huge launch event held in Oslo, Funcom’s headquarters city.

I think Age of Conan will manage to offer us many sleepless nights, what do you think?
